Tax administration department to hold reappraisal information session

The Durham County Department of Tax Administration will hold an information session on Monday, Nov. 18 to discuss the county’s 2025 reappraisal process. 

The session will take place from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. at Main Library, 300 N. Roxboro St.

Reappraisal is the process of determining the market value of all real properties in Durham County as of January 1 of the reappraisal year. Real property includes all vacant and improved land, whether it is residential, commercial, agricultural or industrial.

The information session will provide residents with an opportunity to learn about the reappraisal process and ask questions of tax administration staff. More information about the reappraisal process for 2025 is available on the county’s website.
