Durham Parks and Recreation will host a community meeting on Monday, Jan. 27, to discuss soil contamination in five city parks.
The meeting will take place from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Walltown Recreation Center, 1308 W. Club Blvd.
Experts will be present to discuss the status of soil lead and other contaminants in East Durham, East End, Lyon Park, Northgate, and Walltown Parks.
Snacks and activities for children will be available.
