Durham business owners can get support and resources to help their ventures grow at a town hall hosted by Mayor Leonardo Williams later this month.
The free event, called “Durham Leveling Up: Scaling Your Business Through Opportunity and Collaboration,” will be held Oct. 29 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at North Carolina Central University’s new School of Business, 829 E. Lawson St.
The event will include panel discussions, exhibitors, networking and a conversation with Williams, Isabel Casillas Guzman, administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration and John Hope Bryant, founder, chairman and CEO of Operation HOPE, Bryant Group Ventures and The Promise Homes Company.
The event is free but registration is required by Oct. 19. It is organized by the city’s Office of Economic and Workforce Development.
