Durham’s Neighborhood Improvement Services team will host a Fair Housing Tenant Workshop on Sept. 24 at the Durham Main Library, 300 N. Roxboro St.
The event, which will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m., will cover topics such as disability rights laws, reasonable accommodations/modifications and protections against discrimination.
Participants will learn the process for filing a complaint and how to use community housing related resources.
The event will take place in-person at the library, with a virtual option available. Registration is required to attend the workshop virtually.
