Durham launches revitalization program for Fayetteville Street businesses

Businesses along Fayetteville Street in Durham can now access free services designed to support their growth through the city’s new Fayetteville Street Corridor Bounce Back Program.

The program is a collaborative effort between the city’s Office of Economic and Workforce Development and M-Cubed & Co. Global, a private consulting firm.

The initiative offers a range of services to Fayetteville Street businesses located from N.C. Hwy. 147 to Cornwallis Road, including technical assistance, workshops, coaching and networking events.

The program will kick off with two free events in January: a workshop on Jan. 22 focusing on post-pandemic challenges and a networking event on Jan. 28.

In addition to workshops and events, the program has launched a new online business directory to connect visitors with businesses in the corridor. The directory will feature businesses from legacy businesses to emerging startups.

Fayetteville Street business owners are encouraged to register for workshops, subscribe to the program’s newsletter and learn more about the program at the program’s website.
