Book Harvest’s Family Space to reopen after expansion

Book Harvest, a nonprofit literacy organization, will reopen its Family Space on Sept. 12 after a renovation and expansion project.

The organization’s storefront space, at 2501 University Dr., has been closed for the summer for a renovation that added approximately 5,300 square feet.

Book Harvest describes its Family Space as “a colorful area full of free books, wall toys, a magnet wall, reading nooks, puppets, and more – all designed to make it easy for children and families to play, learn, and read together.”

The Family Space will be open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. More information about the space is available on Book Harvest’s website.
