Durham County Library’s summer reading program began June 8 and will run through July 27.
The seven-week program encourages children, teens and adults to read over the summer. The theme this year is “Adventure Begins at Your Library!”
Trackers to record summer reading are available online or at any library location. Readers can log books, newspapers, magazines or comics. Anyone who picks up a paper tracker is eligible to receive a prize (while supplies last).
Durham County Library will also host summer reading programs throughout the summer, which can be found on the library’s event calendar.
