The James S. Manning House, better known to Durham residents as the “Bull Durham” house, will be open for tours on Saturday, June 8.
Featured in the 1988 film “Bull Durham,” the circa 1880 house located at 911 N. Mangum St. is on the market once again, having sold previously four years ago.
Tours will take place between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. The tour is free for members of Preservation Durham and costs $12 for non-members, with proceeds benefiting Preservation Durham and the Durham Art Guild. Advance registration is not required and street parking is available in the neighborhood.
A reporter for The 9th Street Journal visited the house when it previously sold in 2020.
