Tawauna Stewart, who has served as interim principal at Rogers-Herr Middle School since March 2024, will become the school’s permanent principal.. Lori Blake-Reid has been named executive director of construction, capital planning and sustainability. She has previously served as an interim associate vice chancellor for facilities management at N.C. Central University, a director of building services for Duke University, director of facilities operations for N.C. Central University and a facility operations manager with the City of Durham. Blake-Reid is a graduate of N.C. Agricultural and Technical State University.
