Boxyard RTP is seeking four retail businesses to fill six-month residencies in its PopBox pop-up program.
Applications for the next cohort of the program close on Friday, Jan. 10, at 11:59 p.m.
PopBox is a 320-square-foot space within Boxyard RTP that hosts rotating pop-up style shops. The program launched in 2021 with the mission to support small businesses by providing them with a physical retail presence and includes a $6,750 micro-grant from NC IDEA and the Research Triangle Foundation.
Since its inception, PopBox has hosted 11 small businesses. The next cohort will begin in August.
Applicants will be notified of their status on Wednesday, Jan. 22, with interviews for finalists taking place from Feb. 17 to Feb. 28. Finalists will be notified March 10, with the public announcement of the 2025-2027 cohort planned for June.
