Canadian airline WestJet will launch nonstop service between Raleigh-Durham International Airport and Calgary International Airport in June 2025, the Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority announced.
The seasonal route will operate three days a week, from June 9 to Oct. 13, departing from Terminal 2. The four hour and 55 minute flight will be on Boeing 737 aircraft with 174 to 189 seats. Service will be available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
The addition of the Calgary route marks WestJet as the fifth international airline to launch or announce new service at RDU in 2024. This brings the number of destinations outside the United States served by RDU to 11, a new record for the airport. Tickets for the new route are on sale now.
