The Durham County Department of Social Services has named Travis Williams its new Assistant Director of the Aging and Adult Services Division.
Williams brings over 20 years of experience in human services to the role. He has previously worked for the Tennessee Department of Human Services, the District of Columbia Department of Human Services, the City of Richmond Department of Social Services and the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.
Durham’s Aging and Adult Services Division offers in-home and community-based programs and services to seniors, adults with disabilities and their families.
Williams earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a master of business administration degree from the University of Memphis.
