Teens encouraged to ‘Imagine a Day Without Water’

The city’s Water Management Department is seeking submissions for its “Imagine a Day Without Water” video contest.

The contest, open to Durham residents or students who are aged 13 to 18, asks high school students to create a short video exploring how life might be affected by a day without water.

Videos must be shorter than one minute and will be accepted through Oct. 14. A first place winner will receive $200, and a second and third place winner will receive $100 and $50, respectively.

More information and an application form is available on the city’s website.
