The Durham Police Department will host a National Night Out celebration on Tuesday, Oct. 1.
National Night Out is an annual, nationwide program that aims to enhance the relationships between law enforcement officials and communities.
DPD’s event will take place at the police headquarters, 602 E. Main St., from 4 to 8 p.m. The event will include a display of specialty vehicles and local vendors, as well as food and activities for all ages.
