Registration is now open for TROSA’s Turkey Trot, a 5K race on Thanksgiving Day that is now in its fourth year.
Cash prizes will be awarded to top men’s and women’s finishers, as well as the top finisher in the master’s division, for runners over the age of 40. All participants will receive a long-sleeved race shirt, medal, chip-timed results and post-race refreshments.
The race will start at 8 a.m. and the route starts and ends at TROSA’s campus, 1820 James St.
According to TROSA, more than 1,000 participants took part in last year’s race. Registration is available online and must be completed in advance.
TROSA is also seeking volunteers to help greet, register and cheer on runners. More information and a sign-up form to volunteer is available online.
