Book Harvest to offer kindergarten info sessions

Book Harvest, a nonprofit literacy organization, will host two kindergarten information sessions for parents and guardians of children who will soon be starting school.

Each of the information sessions will feature expert advice, a question-and-answer session and Spanish-language interpretation.

The first session will be in-person at Book Harvest, 2501 University Dr., from noon to 2:30 p.m. Childcare and lunch will be available.

A second, virtual session will take place Oct. 3, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

The events are designed to assist families with making informed decisions about kindergarten options at public, charter and magnet schools.

Registration for both sessions is available online.
