CenterFest to return to Durham for 49th year

CenterFest, the longest-running fine arts festival in North Carolina, will return to downtown Durham for its 49th anniversary on Sept. 21-22.

Hosted by the Durham Arts Council, CenterFest features visual artists from across the country. The event showcases a variety of mediums, including ceramics, paintings, photography, jewelry, fiber art, woodwork and glass.

CenterFest also features live performances from musicians, dancers and street performers. Food vendors and local nonprofit and government organizations will also be present.

Admission is free with a $5 suggested donation at the gate. Donations support the festival and the arts in Durham.
