‘Let’s Talk School Food’ program invites community to discuss school nutrition

Durham Public Schools’ “Let’s Talk School Food” program, a monthly Zoom meeting to discuss school nutrition, takes place this Thursday.

The meeting, held on the  second Thursday of each month from 5 to 6 p.m., is an opportunity for the schools’ food team to provide an update on current efforts to address key issues such as allergies and free meals for all students.

The program also provides a forum for community members to share their questions and ideas about school food and to collaborate on improvements to school nutrition.

This month’s “Let’s Talk School Food” meeting will take place on Thursday, June 13. Registration is available online.
