RDU gears up for record-breaking Memorial Day weekend

Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) is anticipating a record-breaking Memorial Day weekend, with an estimated 300,000 passengers expected to travel through the airport from Thursday, May 23 through Tuesday, May 28. This represents an 8 percent increase in passenger traffic compared with the same holiday weekend last year.

Travelers are encouraged to arrive at the airport at least two hours before domestic flights and three hours before international flights.

RDU recommends reserving parking in the deck or lot of your choice at least 24 hours in advance.
