Proximity Brewing Company will host its fifth annual Blacktoberfest event on Saturday, Oct.12 at Garland Court, 491 S. Driver St.
Blacktoberfest is a celebration of Black culture and Black-owned businesses that will feature a diverse array of beer, food, music, art and entertainment. Thirty breweries will participate in the event, along with six Black-owned wine and spirit brands.
General admission tickets are $45 and include a Blacktoberfest tasting glass and unlimited five-ounce pours from participating partners. The festival will also include more than 40 food and retail vendors, live bands and DJs.
