Local businesses are invited to participate in Acceler8, a career exploration day for all eighth-grade Durham Public Schools students.
The event, hosted by DPS and the DPS Foundation, will occur on Tuesday, Oct. 22 at Durham County Memorial Stadium, 750 Stadium Dr., from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The annual event aims to connect students with industry professionals through hands-on activities and information sessions, providing students an opportunity to explore diverse career paths and begin planning their futures.
Interested businesses can register to participate online. Participants are asked to be present for the entire event.
