Nearly $300,000 in grant money is available for cultural festivals that will take place in the city before December 31, 2025.
Applicants must be a non-profit organization or a partner with a non-profit, have experience in festival planning or similar projects, have insurance against potential liabilities and have adequate financial capacity.
The request for proposals and more information are available on the city’s website. Applications will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. on August 8.
The city will also host two workshops for interested applicants:
- July 18, 1:30-3 p.m. at the General Services Department, 2011 Fay Street
- July 24, 5:30-7 p.m. on Zoom. Registration is required.
The grants are administered by the city’s Cultural and Public Art Program.
