Welcome Baby, a program of the Durham County Cooperative Extension that provides parenting support and resources to local families, will host a “School is Cool” summer celebration on Saturday, June 29.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Extension Building at 721 Foster Street.
Community partners will share information on literacy, safety, nutrition and the school system.
The event will include a raffle and children’s activities.
