All three of Durham County’s Solid Waste Convenience Sites will be closed on Thursday, July 27.
The county’s General Services Department be closed due to professional development training for staff. The sites are:
– Parkwood at 5928 Highway 55
– Redwood at 100 Electra Road
– Northern at 11894 N. Roxboro Road
The county’s roadside recycling services will not be affected. All convenience sites will reopen on Friday, June 28, at 7 a.m for county residents with a current solid waste decal.
