An important election is sneaking up on us. On March 3, Durham will elect four school board members and choose nominees for everything from Congress to the state Senate. In heavily Democratic Durham, winners of the primary are likely to prevail in November.

Important Dates:

Feb. 12 - Early voting begins
Feb. 17 - Absentee ballot request deadline
Mar. 3 - Statewide primary and election
