Public invited to share input on Destination Master Plan

Discover Durham, the city’s marketing and tourism development agency, recently published its Destination Master Plan with more than 60 recommended initiatives. The plan is intended to create a 20-year vision and roadmap for Durham, focused both on developing new economic catalysts and identifying ways to further Durham as a thriving visitor destination and exceptional place to live and work.

On June 8 at 10 a.m., the community will have the chance to learn more about the plan and provide feedback. This free event will take place at the Durham County Main Library at 300 North Roxboro Street.

Attendees will be able to learn about the recommended initiatives, provide input and learn how to stay up-to-date as the work progresses.

Snacks will be provided, and coloring stations for younger children will be available. Free parking is available on-site for attendees.

Registration is available online.
