Election season is in full swing, and we have some exciting reporting projects in the works. For instance, our “Pops and policies” series, launching soon, will introduce voters to a wide range of candidates — including less-familiar candidates down the ballot.
And we’d like to hear from you! We’re holding a pair of community conversations on local elections coverage on Saturday, Sept. 21 and I’m writing to invite you, as a 9th Street reader, to come take part.
These small-group conversations are open to all Durham residents on a first-come, first-served basis. The sessions will last 90 minutes and participants will receive $50 gift cards.
