Recording the birds of Durham, tweet by tweet

If you’ve noticed neighbors pointing their phones skyward in the early morning lately, they could be part of a citywide volunteer crew that’s cataloging Durham’s birds. Reporter Marin Yearley went birdwatching — or bird listening — with members of the Concrete Chorus Project and describes what the effort is all about.
