Jackie Wagstaff still prodding the powers that be

Longtime observers of Durham politics have watched Jackie Wagstaff star in many a public controversy over the years.

Conflict has never deterred the longtime activist from pushing people in power to help those with the least in Durham.

Wagstaff is back on the public stage, this time as a city council candidate. She jumped into the race skeptical that three left-leaning incumbents seeking re-election work hard enough to protect the most vulnerable in Durham.
