Longtime observers of Durham politics have watched Jackie Wagstaff star in many a public controversy over the years.<\/p>\n
Conflict has never deterred the longtime activist from pushing people in power to help those with the least in Durham.<\/p>\n
Wagstaff is back on the public stage, this time as a city council candidate. She jumped into the race skeptical that three left-leaning incumbents seeking re-election work hard enough to protect the most vulnerable in Durham.<\/p>\n
